Quenching My Wanderlust

My adventure to the subtropical island paradise between Portugal and Africa was put in jeopardy when I realised I’d forgotten something pretty darn vital. My passport.

I’d woken up at 4am to catch my flight just after 7am, and was checking in when I realised this. I was thinking about how relieved I was to not be having any drama on this trip, when the easyjet check in lady asked me for my passport. A train hit me in the stomach, going 400km/hour. I was not going to lose my 170 euro return flights just like that. Oh hell no.
