Near miss: Anders Helstrup was almost killed by this meteorite
Jumping out of a plane is one of the most extreme activities and every now and again some skydivers manage to cheat death in spectacular ways.
Take Anders Helstrup, a wingsuit pilot, who was cruising through the air at when a METEORITE hurtled passed him at 300mph.
The rock was in “dark flight” which is the part of its journey after it has lost its glow and missed him by metres.
There are some hair-raising incidents including the feared parachute-not-opening, being knocked out at 12,500 feet and two planes colliding.
