Ferrari F430 crashed by cycling star Tom Boonen

Cycling star Tom Boonen has recently managed to crash his Ferrari F430 after the tire of the Italian supercar has exploded.

Exotic supercar will try to kill you even if you’re not speeding like you would in a hot hatch for example as Tom Boonen has recently found out. The cycling star was out in his Italian ride, with his teammate Nicky Terpstra, the winner of the cycling classic Paris-Roubaix, when a tire exploded. Happily no one was injured in the incident, which took place on Spa Francorchamp, in Belgium. The Ferrari F430 in question has been painted by Jeroom, a Belgian cartoon artist.

The Ferrari F430 has been in production between 2004 and 2009 and it was the predecessor of the 458 Italia, making its public debut during the Paris Motor Show. The rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive supercar was also coming in two body styles, 2-seat Berlinetta and 2-seat Spider, and it had 4.3 liter V8 engine under its hood, producing a total output of 483 HP (360 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque, available at 5,250 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.4 seconds in the F430 and top speed stands at 315 km/h (196 mph).
