Underwater paradise in the Gulf of Thailand

Crystal clear water, landscape splattered with prehistoric limestone cliffs, seas brimming with fish, turtles, reef sharks and manta rays.. and not a shirtless bunch of blokes with buckets and fluro body paint in sight… Its hard to believe that this Island in Thailand is only a few hours boat ride from the infamous home of the full moon party at Koh Phangan.

 Koh Tao is no secret, it has been on the tourist radar since the first hippie pioneers arrived in the 1970s, it has however had the ability to keep a lot of its natural charm and refrain from turning into some of its close neighbors. A major reason for this is the fact Koh Tao is Thailand’s number one destination for people learning to scuba dive, and its no secret that binge drinking and scuba diving do not mix well… especially when its your first time.
