Aimee Fuller: Amazing Sochi experience gave slopestyle its biggest stage yet

I arrived at the Olympics with no idea what to expect, having qualified just two weeks  before and gone there almost straight away from the X Games.

In Sochi, the Olympic village was crazy. The Brits probably had the best zone there, right in the middle of everything.

Team Australia were opposite and Canada were just across the road, with the food hall to our left and the slopestyle course to our right, so we were central to it all.

The course was insane, probably one of the  biggest I have ever ridden. At the start it was a little sketchy but it all soon got rode in and it was actually awesome riding such a big, progressive course with the boys. It really was a good display of our sport and a history-defining moment.
